I have had this for about 2 years. I run it about every 4 months for 2 hours. The only thing I’ve done is to change the oil to synthetic. The battery will hold a charge for at least 4 months. Spend the extra money to install a 50 amp plug and a loc-out switch.

I purchased this generator in July of 2023. When I first bought it, it would not start for weeks. Then it finally started and I used it a couple times now it will not make a sound like it has a short because it starts when it wants to. I have a food trailer and been losing out on money because my generation make a sound.

Manual says to use 30 amp power

I will give a 5 for now because I have not used it yet. The generator has a 50 amp plug and a 30. Shouldn’t I use a 50? The manual doesn’t tell me what cord to buy. Maybe I missed it. It also says I need to ground the generator at all times. I thought new generators did not have to be grounded when plugging into the house. Any help is much appreciated.

I live in South Texas, Corpus Christi, and we have Hurricanes ever now and then and I been wanting a gen, set for a while, and I finally got one, Pulsar G12KBN.

Boy what a buy,,, Dual fuel Etc,, but I made it a triple fuel!!! I got me a “DEMAND” regulator so I could also use Natural Gas… I know it want put out as much elect. but that’s OK also .. We have changed our lights to Daylight 60 watt equivalent led’s.. I don’t intend to ever use gasoline in this thing unless I have to take it somewhere!! Go to Nash Fuel store if you want a demand regulator to use N/G.Or just do a search for them. Try to get one with a “Purge” button so you can push the air out of the lines before starting. You will get how it works when you can play with it a bit.. Good luck– Phil
