First Real Test
Ran this during a power outage today to power our sizeable home. This unit and the installation of a 50amp outlet, safety breaker and quick connect into our natural gas service saved us about $15k over the minimum for a whole house setup with a transfer switch, and took about 5 minutes to bring online. Our power was out for 8 hours and we ran 3 refrigerators, lights, tv’s, washer and dryer and this generator hardly noticed while in power saver mode all day. It is quiet, power, loaded with features and efficient.
So far I’m very impressed!
Very Pleased
I haven’t had this generator for long, but I am very pleased with my experience to date. It arrived very well packaged and was protected by plywood sheets at the top and the bottom. My experience has been limited to Natural Gas, but it’s operation on that fuel source has been perfect. It starts easily and runs smoothly. The included natural gas hose has top quality connectors — the gas plumber that installed a new gas bib for me was impressed!
The generator is very quiet, especially when in the low idle mode. Since it’s an inverter generator, it steps up the RPM when necessary according to the load. I have operated the generator at various loads with no difficulties whatsoever. Output has been spot on at all loads. Again, it’s early days so I cannot comment on longevity nor durability, but I’m very pleased with its design and operation. I would absolutely buy it again.
