Reliable generator
Been using my Pulsar 12000 dual fuel generator since hurricane Milton left areas of Florida without power. My generator has been running on propane and powering a 2800 sqft house with 2 central air units, a large upright greet, 1 big refrigerator/freezer, a hybrid hot water heater running only on heat pump mode, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, lights, computer, 2 water wells, and tv’s. This generator is very well made. Make sure that you change the oil every 25 hours of use with good quality synthetic oil. I highly recommend Pulsar brand!
Propane adapter to use for natural gas hookup
Have duel fuel 12000. Used propane with adapter provided. Can I also use adapter to hook up to natural gas? Unit was great for whole house during Milton hurricane
Great Decsion
I was able to use my Pulsar 12000W Dual Fuel generator for the first time after Hurricane Beryl (07/2024). I had an interlock kit installed on my house and a soft start kit on my central AC unit. The Pulsar generator hardly breathed hard at all while running my entire house, including my 4-ton central AC. My 40lbs propane tanks lasted 12 to 13 hours and could easily have lasted longer if I had reduced the number of running appliances but I had all my circuits running.
Houston Storm Event
Pulled my Pulsar 12000w Generator out of storage and within minutes had full power to the house and shop, cool all week! This monster is Tuff and worked hard for a whole week nonstop. Gave it some down time during refills. Overall, I will buy again and recommend.
Houston hurricane results
I bought Pulsar 12000w 4 weeks ago, not even expecting I would need it so soon, I did connect 50amp inlet and breaker, directly to the power source and thank God this generator have not only saved my food but also kept us cool this whole week Houston has been without power. It turns on my 4 ton ac unit and I haven’t even got the easy start. Pulsar has met all expectations and beyond
