Gas leaking from small open tube on bottom

December 1, 2024

Always used propane with no problems. This time camping we tried with gas and started with no problems but started smelling gas and noticed a small tube on the bottom leaking gas from it. Any suggestions what the tube is and how to stop the leaking to stop the gas smell.

Nice little generator but it does have a CPL issues

Watch for fraying of the pull cord as it does have a sharp edge where it comes through the cover much easier to fix it before it breaks. If it suddenly starts running full throttle shut it off and put the throttle plate back on before the screw and plate and screw destroys the jug. Other than that it’s a great little generator.

Dependable and quiet

I’ve been using the generator with propane so I won’t have to worry about the carburetor gumming up from sitting several months in between uses with gasoline. I use it to provide power for outdoor activities and it has worked flawlessly. We did not lose power from the recent Hurricanes but I was prepared if we had.

After receiving this gen. I put gas in it and tried to start it but I think I chocked it and flooded it. I let sit for a time and then it started. The next day I tried starting it on propane and following instructions it started. I like so far. Chuck
